Testing Process

All samples are collected, labeled, and submitted to Tumi Genomics following strict chain-of-custody and contamination control procedures:

-Samples are taken under sterile, HEPA-filtered conditions.

-Each sample is labeled with strain name, sample ID, and collection date.

-Samples are overnighted to Tumi Genomics for RT-qPCR analysis.

-Results are logged, reviewed, and verified internally before public posting.

Testing is performed using quantitative real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) to detect even trace levels of Hop Latent Viroid RNA, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.

Result Interpretation

-Negative (Clean): No HLVd RNA detected by Tumi Genomics.

-Positive: HLVd RNA detected — affected plants are immediately quarantined, destroyed, or remediated through tissue culture.

-Pending: Sample submitted, awaiting verified lab report.
